LEARN HOW TO CURL!!The Capital Curling Club will be holding Learn-to-Curls on Sunday, October 16th and Monday, October 17th! You can pre-register now online, or just show up for the class of your choice. GET PRE-SIGNED UP FOR A CLASS BY CLICKING HERE! The cost is $10 per person, and the classes will be from 7pm to 9pm each night. You only need to sign up for one or the other as both classes are the same. You can pay online using the registration form, or you can bring $10/person in cash with you to the curling club. Get signed up, because classes fill up fast! You won't need to buy anything to get started. Wear loose/stretchy pants (sweats, track pants, leggings, etc... jeans do not work well as they do not stretch), dress in layers as its between 35-40 degrees on the ice, but you'll warm up as you play... and clean shoes only. We usually say no "street shoes" allowed... as in, shoes that you wear outdoors on a daily basis cannot be worn on the ice. The tread needs to be good for traction, and you cannot have any dirt, rocks, mud, etc... in the treads, so bring a change of shoes with to put on before hand. We don't like it when people wear their curling shoes in and track ice, snow and dirt on them! The club supplies sliders for you when throwing stones, and curling brooms to use for sweeping... That's about all you need! There will be a class held Tuesday night as well from 7pm to 9pm for those curlers that attend either Sunday or Monday, and are more interested in some further basics and joining a league night! | Craft Beer Open BonspielThe Early Bird Bonspiel is now the Bismarck Craft Beer Open Bonspiel!
