Learn-to-Curl
Interested in curling? Come on in for instruction by trained curling professionals!
Learn to Curl! Cost is $10 per person.
Check the club calendar for dates and times!
You won't need to buy anything to get started. Wear loose/stretchy pants (sweats, track pants, leggings, etc... jeans do not work well as they do not stretch), dress in layers as its between 35-40 degrees on the ice, but you'll warm up as you play... and clean shoes only. We usually say no "street shoes" allowed... as in, shoes that you wear outdoors on a daily basis cannot be worn on the ice. The tread needs to be good for traction, and you cannot have any dirt, rocks, mud, etc... in the treads, so bring a change of shoes with to put on before hand. We don't like it when people wear their curling shoes in and track ice, snow and dirt on them.
The club supplies sliders for you when throwing stones, and curling brooms to use for sweeping... That's about all you need!
