Does my membership also get me USCA Membership?
Yes. As a member of the Capital Curling Club, you are automatically registered as a basic membership in the USCA. For more information about the membership levels, please visit www.usacurling.org/membership
Why does my Grandfathered Team have to register before the Registration Meeting?
We need to know which teams are returning so we can gauge our recruiting efforts to fill any possible vacancies. Full leagues help us keep costs down for everyone.
Can I mail a sponsor check to the club so that I do not have to attend the meeting?
Yes. Although the option isn’t on the form, we will accept sponsor checks by mail. You can have them sent to CCC, PO Box 2453, Bismarck, ND 58501.
Does every team member need to fill out a Grandfathered Team Registration?
No. Only the skip or team contact will fill out the team registration form. We only want one form per team. Every team member will fill out an Individual Registration. That form and any registration fees are due on or before the first night of league.
I don’t want to register my team through the web, what now?
Come to the annual league meeting at 6:30 with a sponsor or personal check and we will register you using the form.
My team wants to move or I want to start a new team in another league. Can I fill out the Grandfathered Team Registration Form?
No, we are developing a Non-Grandfathered Form that you can fill out. Filling out this form will help us gauge interest in vacancies. And in the event that a vacancy is available and your team gets that vacancy at the Registration meeting or afterwards, that form will become your team registration.
Can I register a Grandfathered team if I don't know who all the players will be?
Yes, the only required boxes deal with the skip (or team representative). Player names in other positions can be left blank. Please fill out as much information as you know at the time of registration. It helps us cross-reference paid memberships and fill vacancies.
Should I just wait until my first night of league to register, like I always do?
You can, but we hope not. We are hoping that you will find this an easy, convenient way to register and pay your dues. Your payment is secure as we are using PayPal.
Will I get a discount for paying cash or check as I know there is a charge on credit card transactions.
No. The club has rolled the cost of credit card transactions into all league dues.
