CAPITAL CURLING CLUB BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

July 15, 2004

Members Present: Tom Pomonis, Rita Becker, Mike Borr, Greg Hiemenz, Roger Smith, Scott McLeod, Roxanne Howes, Roger Peet

New Business: Tom Pomonis has approached Odney Advertising about developing marketing materials for the Junior Nationals.  Work items could include club and event brochures to assist in selling advertizing and sponsorships.  Additionally, Odney may assist the club in developing a marketing strategy. Tom made a motion, seconded by Greg Hiemenz,  to hire Odney Advertizing for the Junior Nationals and other club marketing at a cost not to exceed $1,500 plus in-kind advertizing for the Junior Nationals.  The motion passed unanimously.

Mike Borr made a motion, seconded by Scott McLeod,  to provide $500 for a 50 percent matching grant with the park board for new chairs in the upstairs club room.  The motion passed unanimously.
